Advance Tabco - Hopkins County Industry of the Month
Madisonville, Ky. (October 1, 2015) – The Madisonville/Hopkins County Economic Development Corporation today announced that Kintucky, LLC, a division of Advance Tabco, with operations in Dawson Springs, has been named Industry of the Month for October in the Economic Development Corporation’s program for enhanced focus on Existing Industry.
A fourth generation family owned firm in business since 1929, Advance Tabco is a leading manufacturer of high end kitchen equipment, serving the food service, residential, and plumbing industries. With over 6,000 standard items in their catalog, with the technological capabilities for extensive customization, Advance Tabco produces and distributes stainless steel equipment in eight states and across many product lines. In the community since June of 2014, the company’s decision to locate in Hopkins County was aided by a strong relationship with WEBstaurant Store, a restaurant supply distribution operation successfully recruited to Madisonville in 2011. The Dawson Springs operation was initially slated as a distribution operation to cover the west coast. However, the company has expanded operations to reach locations all over the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
Occupying a 39,000-square-foot building off Highway 109 in Dawson Springs, the company has already exceeded employment projections, and is considering options for potential future growth. Kintucky, LLC provides 10 jobs in Hopkins County.
