The Hopkins County Fiscal court feeling that we had a responsibility to the humane treatment of all animals especially those animals that are neglected and abused partnered with the non-profit Hopkins County Humane Society and the City of Madisonville to provide for the humane treatment of homeless mistreated or abandoned animal.
In 2013 Hopkins County with the use of a Grant and Coal Severance Money built new state of the art 4,500 square foot Humane Society building at a cost exceeding $500,000 Dollars.
Our main goal is to end animal overpopulation through Spay and Neuter and to find homes for the homeless and neglected animals.
