PUBLIC NOTICE

Hopkins County Fiscal Court Budget, Audits and Personnel Committee will hold a special called meeting at 8:45 a.m. Tuesday, April 7, 2026.

Hopkins County Government Center and Sanitation departments, including most County Convenience Centers, will close at noon on Friday, April 3 for Good Friday. 

The Barnsley Convenience Center will close at 11 a.m. The Hopkins County Road Department will close at noon. 

All convenience centers will be open at normal hours on Saturday, April 4, 2026.

Regarding the new Residence Stickers being handed out at Hopkins County Convenience Centers: The stickers are good for ALL Convenience Center locations within Hopkins County, not just the one where it was issued. Thank you!

Hopkins County Public Works is currently seeking individuals for full-time and seasonal employment in the Road Department.  Applicants are required to be at least 18 years of age, and possess a valid driver’s license.  A CDL license is preferred, but not required for fulltime positions.
