The Madisonville/Hopkins County Economic Development Corporation announced today that B & K Wood Products LLC, with operations on Sawmill Road, has been named Industry of the Month for July in the Economic Development Corporation’s program for enhanced focus on Existing Industry.
The Madisonville/Hopkins County Economic Development Corporation announced today that J-Lok USA, with manufacturing facilities in Earlington has been named the inaugural Industry of the Month in the Economic Development Corporation’s program for enhanced focus on Existing Industry.
Per Section 6 of Ordinance No. 2007-14, pertaining to Volunteer Fire Departments placing subscriber fees on property tax bills individuals may Opt-out of this Ordinance by filing with the Hopkins County Fiscal Court this Opt-Out petition between the dates of April 1st and June 1st of the year preceding the issuance of the property tax bills. This process must be repeated each year. Service Pins were awarded at the January 21, 2014 Fiscal Court meeting. Recipients were: Jeremy Crick - Sheriff's Department 15 Years, Denise Huddleston - Sheriff's Department 5 Years and Lydon Logan - Sheriff's Department 15 Years.
On June 25, 2013 Judge Executive Donnie Carroll presented service awards to employees who had been serving Hopkins County for 5, 10, and 15 years.
The following employees received 5 year service awards: Kathy Williams and Diana Wardfor their service to the Hopkins County Jail.
The following employees received 10 year service awards: Candace Ashby for her service to the Hopkins County Sheriff's Office and Timmy Tapp for his service to the Hopkins County Road Department.
The following employees received 15 year service awards: John Holmes for his service to the Hopkins County Road Department and Karon Wise for her service to the Hopkins County Sanitation Department.
